Nx-PBX is a software based telephone private branch exchange (PBX) devices range developed and created by Networtrix. Nx-PBX provides communication between attached telephones, and to connect to other telephone services including the public switched telephone network (PSTN) and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services.
The flexibility of the Nx-PBX devices are unheard of in the world of legacy telephonic communications. It is empowered with advanced communication solutions such as Interactive Voice Response (IVR).
Nx-PBX functions as IP or hybrid PBX capable of switching calls, managing routes, enabling features, and connecting callers with the outside world over IP, analog (POTS), and digital (T1/E1) connections.
Nx-PBX devices are based on open source softwares such as Asterisk and Linux
Nx-PBX provides all of the features you would expect from a PBX including many advanced features that are often associated with high end (and high cost) legacy PBXs. It is designed for maximum flexibility and supports Voice over IP in many protocols, and can interoperate with almost all standards-based telephony equipment using relatively inexpensive hardware. The cost of the device which offers all the PBX features, can be compared to that of an Analogue PBX.
